Instructions for Authors

World Journal of Current Medical and Pharmaceutical Research (WJCMPR) publishes papers of high quality in any area of medicine and pharma research. Submission of an article implies that the presented work and results have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere, and that its publication is approved by all authors. All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest.

Types of Paper
Full-length papers
Full-length papers should: (a) be divided into sections (Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion); (b) contain an Abstract, not exceeding 200 words, at the beginning of the paper, followed by 3-6 keywords; (c) not exceed 12-14 printed pages (approximately 20 typewritten pages) including the space required for figures.
Review Papers
Reviews will be published following invitation from Editors or by the suggestion of authors.
Short Communications
Not exceeding 1500 words or equivalent space including figures and tables. These must be brief definitive reports and not preliminary findings. Short communications need not be divided into Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, instead, Materials and Methods may be described in the text or, if appropriate, in figure legends or table footnotes.
Special Issues
Special Issues on highlighted aspects of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Research are also published. Special Issues may contain selected contributions (invited lectures) from international conferences, or a collection of papers on a specific.
Policy Papers
The purpose of the policy paper is to provide a comprehensive and persuasive argument justifying the policy recommendations presented in the paper, and therefore to act as a decision-making tool and a call to action for the target audience. We advise a length of 3000-4000 words, plus 3-4 figures and/or tables, and 15-20 key references.
Commentaries
Short, focused, opinion articles on any subject within the scope of the journal. These articles are usually related to contemporary issues, such as recent research findings, and are often written by opinion leaders.
Methodology Articles
Present a new experimental method, test or procedure. The method described may be new, or may offer a better version of an existing method.
Case Reports
Reports of clinical cases that can be educational, describe a diagnostic or therapeutic dilemma, suggest an association, or present an important adverse reaction. All case report articles should indicate that informed consent to publish the information was granted from the patients or their guardians.
Letters to the Editor
These can take three forms: a substantial re-analysis of a previously published article or a substantial response to such a re-analysis from the authors of the original publication, or an article that may not cover 'standard research' but that may be relevant to readers.
Submission of Manuscript
Manuscript should be written in English language.The text should be in Times New Roman font, size 12, 1.5 line spaced throughout the manuscript. It is recommended to submit the manuscript in all respect tables, figures and graphs in single word file at: editor@wjcmpr.com for quick evaluation process.
Submission Declaration
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, or thesis). It is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out. If accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright-holder.
Page Limit for Manuscripts
The authors are requested to check their length of the manuscript in between 20-35 pages. If the content is of high value, the editorial office of WJCMPR will accept any manuscript which is either shorter or longer than the prescribed page limit.
The following sequence should be followed while preparing the manuscript.
Title page
Title should be concise and informative; it is reflecting the scope, purpose and content of the study. Authors are requested to include their affliction, contact details, active Email addresses.
Abstract
Abstract should be the aim and scope of the work undertaken by authors. It should be brief and concise not exceeding 350 words.
Keywords
Provide maximum of 6 keywords and they are reflecting the major concepts of the research work, each one is separated by comma (Example: Asthma, Lung Cancer, Clinical Research, Hormones, Metabolites).
Introduction
The introduction should state the main objective of the research work and avoid a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.
Material and Methods
Material and Methods should be clearly presented in the submitting manuscript to allow the reproduction of the experiments. With reference to human/animal experimentation ethical guidelines should be followed.
Statistical Methods
The details of statistical tests used and the level of significance should be stated. If more than one test is used it is important to indicate which groups and parameters have been subjected to which test.
Results and Discussion
Results and Discussion sections may be combined or separated.
Conclusions
Major importance of the study undertaken, and their relevance shall be précised at the end of the manuscript before Acknowledgments section with possible suggested recommendations.
Acknowledgements
Acknowledgements of Institutions, Supporting Industries, People and Funding Agencies should be brief.
Tables and Figures
Tables and Figures should be numbered consecutively with Arabic Numerals (Table 1, Table 2, Table 3, Figure 1, Figure 2 and Figure 3….) and must be cited in the text. Short table title should be recommended. Keep the table title on top and figure legend should be on the bottom.
Footnotes
Footnotes should be kept to a minimum; in most cases, it will be possible to incorporate the information in the text. If footnotes are used, they should be numbered in the text indicated by superscript numbers and kept as brief as possible.

References

References should be numbered consecutively starting from 1, and should be cited in the manuscript by numbers, e.g. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5……..], (not cited by author and date). One article per reference only (not 1a, 1b, 1c). Please avoid putting personal communications, unpublished observations, conference abstracts or conference papers in references. Do not format references as footnotes. Please use plain text in references, no image or math equation.

Please note the number of references must not exceed 200 for any article.

 Journal Paper

Use the sequence: [Author surname] [Author initials], [Other author surnames & initials]. [Article title]. [Journal name abbreviation]. [Year]; [Volume] [Issue]: [First page number]-[Last page number].

• Journal paper must have journal name (or journal abbreviation), year, volume and page numbers.
• Please make sure that the year of publication is not missing.
• Please use “:” to separate issue and first page number.
• Do not bold or italicize the title, journal name, or any part of references. Omit any “.” in the journal abbreviations.
• Please do not add web links or web URLs in references.

We strongly discourage any mentioning or citing web links/URLs in your paper, since web addresses are changed frequently by their owners. This often results in broken links (dead links) in your paper in the future. It is annoying if readers cannot find the web pages when clicking on the links.

Chemical Terminology

The chemical nomenclature used must be in accordance with that used in the Chemical Abstracts.

Biological Nomenclature

Examples: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, Streptococcus mutans.

Enzyme Nomenclature

The trivial names recommended by the IUPAC-IUB Commission should be used. When the enzyme is the main subject of a paper, its code number and systematic name should be stated in its first citation in the paper.

Scientific Names

The genus (always capitalized) and the species (not capitalized) should be typed in italics. When the same name is used more than once in the paper, the first letter of the genus (still capitalized) should be used as an abbreviation in the second and subsequent uses of the name.

Abbreviations and Units

Generally, units must be abbreviated according to the International System of Units (SI units).

Acceptance Certificate

WJCMPR issue Acceptance Certificate to Author(s) for manuscripts that have been reviewed and accepted for publication by an Editor-in-Chief.

Proofs and Reprints

Proofs will be sent via email as an Acrobat PDF file (email attachment) and should be returned within four days of receipt. Page proofs are considered to be the final version of the manuscript. With the exception of typographical or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made in the manuscript at the proof stage. Authors will have free electronic access to the full text (PDF) of the article. Authors can freely download the PDF file from which they can print unlimited copies of their articles.

Publication Notification

After the article is made available on the journal’s website, a publication notice is sent to the corresponding author with links to the issue and article.

Average Number of Weeks between Article Submission and Publication

WJCMPR journal is an open access, triannual international journal. This journal will take an average time between article submission and publication is: 2-3 weeks.

Refund Policy

Article Processing Charges are required after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. The journal will not issue refunds or cancellations of any kind after the acceptance of the manuscript.

Payment Confirmation

A payment confirmation will be sent through email to the corresponding author after the Article Processing Charges have been paid. You can hope to receive the confirmation within 2-3 working days after the payment has been processed.

Publication Frequency

Three issues per year (Triannual).

Revenue Sources

The only revenue source for this journal is the author fees. Publishing fees will not influence editorial decision making.

Advertising Policy

Advertising is not allowed.
